The Kiwoom Heroes signed infielder Lee Won-seok (36) to the franchise’s first multi-year contract on Monday.
The contract is a 2+1 year 꽁머니사이트 deal, with two guaranteed years from 2024 to 2025 and an automatic one-year extension to 2026 if the option is met.
The contract is worth 400 million won per year for the first year and 300 million won per year thereafter, up to a maximum of 1 billion won. The agreement between the club and the player will not take effect until the KBO gives final approval on Feb. 1 next year.
Lee Won-seok signed his second free agent contract with his former club, the Samsung Lions, ahead of the 2021 season.
After moving to Kiwoom in April, Lee had to play through the 2023 season to be eligible for his third free agency. The club decided to sign Lee Won-seok to a multi-year contract early, keeping him with the club for up to three more years.

He sets an example for the younger players with his sincerity and initiative. We appreciated his leadership and attitude in guiding the younger players by acting as a reliable big brother. Lee has played in 1754 career KBO games, batting .263 (5313-for-1397) with 144 home runs and 774 RBIs. In 68 games this season, he is batting .268 with two home runs and 21 RBIs.
