Jessica Koda (USA) of the United States Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour is taking a break from the sport for the time being due to a back injury.
“I’ve been working hard to heal my back since last year. Unfortunately, the pain hasn’t subsided, and on the advice of my medical team, I’ve decided to take a break from competition for the time being until I’m fully recovered.”
With Jessica Koda not providing a timetable for her return, it is expected that she will miss the remainder of the season 메이저놀이터.
This marks the second time both Koda sisters have been sidelined by back injuries on the LPGA Tour.
Prior to Jessica Coda, her sister Nelly Coda announced her back injury on April 24. Nelly will focus on her recovery and return to action at the third major of the season, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, which begins on June 23.
Jessica Coda, who will be sidelined for the foreseeable future, is a top-ranked player with six career LPGA wins. This season, however, she hasn’t won a single event in seven starts. Her best finish was a tie for 18th at the Dio Implants LA Open, and she hasn’t lived up to expectations with two missed cuts.
